About: A TFEAS Exclusive recreation of a beautiful Baluchari saree woven by Sri Dubraj Das in the 19th century as seen in the Indian Museum, Kolkata (& also in the Google Arts & Culture). The saree features beautiful floral butas with the border featuring lotus and creepers. The palla features rows of Kalkas as is predominant in the original Balucharis. This particular kalka is the tree of life. Woven in Benaras, this saree features exquisite resham work which is rarely woven these days. This is a saree in bridal red colour.
